The Fizz is back! This is MLV’s answer to bubbly at Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner. A sparkling blend of cranberry and white grape wine, served at 8 degrees, in a champagne flute, this delicate pink beverage will definitely complement the occasion.
You have been asking about this year’s Cranpagne and it is ready to be released October 2nd. You can place your order now and pick it up at your convenience or visit us while you are out for that drive in the autumn. We have a limited supply available, so don’t put it off too long! Don’t forget that the wire on the cap means that the contents are under pressure so take care while opening it i.e. don’t point it at anyone! Sonia and I thank you all for your support this year. Cheers |

| The embodiment of Canada?
We're not going to tell you how or when you should enjoy Cranpagne, you'll discover that for yourself. We're just going to make it difficult for you and for that we apologize. How do we make it difficult? Well, for starters we only sell Cranpagne in late autumn. You know what that means, don't you? It means that you won't be toasting Dick or Jane with Cranpagne on their birthday unless, of course, they were born around December or New Years (incidentally, Dick was born in April and Jane in June, so let's explore other reasons to buy Cranpagne). So far you've discovered that it's in limited supply, sold during a specific time of year. You can only buy it directly from Motts Landing Vineyard so you've got to make a pilgrimage to Cambridge-Narrows. Not exactly a hardship as it's a very pretty drive. Cranpagne is also expensive, horribly so. It costs more than all our other wines. You'll be paying a penny shy of $20 for each bottle. For about $2.50 you can buy a litre of milk, plus have a delightful milk moustache to boot. So why bother with Cranpagne? Good question (thanks!). Cranpagne is uniquely a product of New Brunswick. It's our secret blend of bog berries and succulent vine orbs. Okay, okay... it’s river valley cranberries (hence ‘cran’) and a curious blend of Motts Landing Vineyard wines made from our New Brunswick grapes (hence ‘pagne’...remembering that it's not easy growing wine grapes) plus the best all-Canadian fRuBbLy bubbles that money can buy. It's colourful, it's vibrant and it's festive. We see Cranpagne as the embodiment of Canada...something worth celebrating! Something worth sharing with friends. Let us know how you used Cranpagne to make one moment more memorable. Send us an e-mail with your story. Send pictures too! Somehow we'll find a way to share your stories...maybe we'll create a special web page for your comments and pictures. |
